Who can become a Toyz 4 Kidz volunteer?
Anyone who is at least 15 years old, lives in New Jersey, and wants to change a child’s life!
How can I contribute?
Donate a new and unwrapped toy. Make a cash donation and we’ll do the toy shopping for you. Volunteer to distribute toys at a local hospital.
Toyz 4 Kidz is a non-profit toy distribution organization dedicated to changing pediatric patients’ lives one toy at a time.
We are dedicated to helping pediatric patients and their families through presenting them with age appropriate toys and games.
We are committed to instilling a spirit of compassion, volunteerism and community service in volunteers.
Through the vision of Chaplain “Rabbi” Ephi Carlebach and his wife Rochel, Toyz 4 Kidz was created to assist pediatric patients in numerous hospitals throughout Central New Jersey.
HOW IT WORKS
Donors throughout Central New Jersey donate and/or sponsor toys, and dedicated volunteers meet together to wrap the toys and write personal messages to the patients. Following cultural sensitivity training, volunteers who meet hospital visitor regulations, present the toys to their new patient-friends.
